Expert Treatment for:
Aphasia: Improve receptive (following conversations, reading) and expressive (word finding, writing) communication.
Apraxia: Targeted techniques to enhance speech clarity coordination for individuals with motor planning difficulties.
Dysarthria: Support and exercises to strengthen muscles and improve speech clarity for slurred speech.
Voice: Customized programs to improve vocal quality (tone, pitch, speech rate, vocal infection, resonance) and breath support.
Brain Injury: Tailored therapy to help regain communication and cognitive skills after brain injuries.
Dysphagia: Assessment and treatment to improve swallowing function and safety.
We use a holistic approach to treating voice disorders. We integrate concepts from the medical voice field and elements of vocal performance to maximize client outcomes.
We are a proud supporter of the LGBTQIA community, and have worked with individuals to find their authentic voice. In addition to pitch, we explore intonation, speech rate, word stress and articulation.

The words of our clients...
Justine is patient, thoughtful, and persistent! She knows what she is doing for sure. She is flexible with our family's busy schedule and we have seen lots of improvement with her support. Our kiddo gets support 20 minutes a week with a group of other kids at his school, so supplemental aid from Justine has been phenomenal. I highly recommend Justine! -Chris C.
"After being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in my early 40's, Justine has been an integral part of my recovery and helped me to find the hope I had lost along the way. She is educated, energetic, compassionate, funny, helpful, and an expert in her field with lots of thoughts on how to drive recovery and improvement. Her years of experience are evidenced by her ability to diagnose and treat people with voice and cognitive-communication deficits stemming from disorders like my brain tumor and other neurodegenerative diseases. Highly recommend her for her skills, relatable nature, and life-changing suggestions on how to simultaneously cope and improve post-brain trauma."

"Justine Dolan is an excellent voice therapist! Through exercises and practice, she helped me find my voice. She provided clear instruction on resonance and intonation. I still use the techniques she taught me to relax my voice when I give a presentation or speak in public. I am grateful to Justine Dolan for everything she taught me."

Justine did an excellent presentation for our ataxia support group community. It was detailed and targeted with lots of tips and information about speech and swallowing. Our members really appreciated that she shared her knowledge and expertise with us.

When my mom had her stroke and lost her ability to speak due to aphasia we were shattered. She is the heart and soul of our family and the keeper of stories, family recipes and the glue that kept everyone whole. Justine was a true blessing to us. Her patience, kindness and understanding put as at peace throughout all of it. She is a creative master at what she does and we consider her family now. My mom was and still is such a positive and hopeful person during all of it and we were thankful to find someone that matched her desire to get better!

"I have to admit I was really scared about being a professional singer and having throat surgery to remove a polyp on my vocal cord. Justine gave me a new way to look at exercising my voice to warm up properly, and with the help of hearing aids, I was able to control the volume of my voice. Justine has an extensive background in music as well as wonderful techniques, exercises that even some of the biggest stars would use! Justine, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!"

"I had the pleasure of working with Justine for three months. In that time, we worked to deepen, lower, and masculinize my voice as part of my transition. I have an incredibly hard time hearing different tones and pitches. I also have ADHD, which makes learning and practicing new skills difficult. Justine, being highly flexible and adaptable, was successful in finding a learning style that worked for me. Using her knowledge and skills, we were able to triumph in our endeavors to bring my voice down. As a transgender and neurodivergent person, I felt safe and welcomed when working with Justine. I highly recommend her for all your speech therapy needs."
